The short answer

There are public programs for licensing private business records, code and other datasets. A public invitation shows that a route exists; it does not prove that your archive will attract an offer.

Read the program itself

Check that the official page describes business records rather than only contributor work, expert labeling or a consumer-data product. Some companies build AI training environments without operating an open program to acquire arbitrary company archives.

Separate evidence types

A provider’s marketing range, a published case study and a signed offer are different evidence. Ask which entity contracts, what is guaranteed and whether a public example involved a comparable scope.

What to record before deciding

Keep the written scope, official provider source, unresolved questions and the person responsible for each check. Treat a marketing claim as a claim until it is reflected in the agreement. A directory entry does not approve the transaction or establish your rights to share the records.

Your next step

See where your company’s data could fit.

  • Begin with a company description, not an export
  • Review systems, retained history and exclusions
  • Compare the terms before sharing records
