An emerging mix of routes
The directory includes public enterprise-record licensing programs, marketplaces, intermediaries and wind-down specialists. These routes do not all make the same commitment: listing an archive, assessing it and signing a license are separate events.
Three different kinds of evidence
Program pages show what a company says it is interested in. Advertised ranges describe its marketing or estimation framework. A completed transaction would require evidence of the actual scope and outcome. This site does not combine those categories into a price index.
Examples worth reading at the source
Appen describes enterprise operational data; DataVendor describes a seller marketplace; Troveo describes licensing and revenue-sharing arrangements. These examples establish different commercial routes, not equivalent offers for an individual company.
What remains opaque
Actual acceptance rates, negotiated prices, downstream recipients and comparable transaction volumes are often unpublished. We mark missing information instead of filling it with averages or predictions. Recheck the program immediately before relying on it.
